M T അനുസ്മരണം

 

Today, Kalosmi, the Malayalam Association of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College, organized a heartfelt program in memory of the legendary M.T. Vasudevan Nair—a poet, scriptwriter, novelist, and director whose passing marks an irreplaceable loss to Malayalam literature and cinema. His timeless works continue to inspire generations, and the event served as a fitting tribute to his extraordinary legacy.

The program was honored by the presence of Dr. A.R. Shelly, Principal of Fatima Mata National College and a renowned Malayalam professor. In his insightful address, Shelly Sir offered a profound analysis of M.T. Vasudevan Nair's contributions to literature and film. He highlighted the depth and realism in M.T.'s writing and his unique ability to capture the essence of Kerala’s culture and emotions.

The event, held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featured a variety of engaging segments. A quiz competition tested participants' knowledge of Malayalam literature, in which our Mathematics Department proudly secured second place. The program also included a well-curated exhibition tracing M.T. Sir’s literary and cinematic journey, a documentary showcasing his life and work, and a thematic dance performance portraying characters from his iconic films. The event was both educational and emotional, celebrating the legacy of one of Malayalam’s greatest creative minds.

Drama

 As a teacher trainee, participating in a drama based on simple and compound interest as part of the B.Ed. curriculum was a unique and enriching experience. The activity combined creativity with education, making a complex mathematical concept more engaging and easier to understand. Through dramatization, we transformed an abstract topic into a relatable and interactive learning experience for students.

Our drama was structured as a real-life scenario in which characters played roles such as family members and a banker. The script highlighted everyday financial situations where simple and compound interest are applied, such as bank loans, savings accounts, and business investments. By portraying these situations in a dramatic and humorous way, we made the topic more accessible and enjoyable for students.

One of the key takeaways from this experience was the effectiveness of dramatization in teaching mathematical concepts. The students were more engaged, and retained the information better compared to traditional lecture methods. It also helped develop our teaching skills, including communication, creativity, and classroom management.

Additionally, the drama boosted our confidence as future educators, reinforcing the idea that learning can be fun and interactive. It also emphasized the importance of using innovative teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles.

Overall, this experience not only deepened our understanding of simple and compound interest but also highlighted the power of dramatization as a teaching tool. The drama-based learning approach proved to be an effective pedagogical tool that not only enriched our understanding of the subject but also showcased the impact of experiential learning in education. This experience has inspired us to incorporate dramatization and other creative techniques in our future teaching practices to make learning more dynamic and meaningful for students. It was very much fun altogether. 

 

Drama workshop

 Today we had a workshop based on our subject named "art education ". Satheesh G Nair sir was our resource person.Sir gave us a detailed explanation about drama. There were so many interactive sessions. It was a wonderful session. It was from 10am to 4.30 pm.

Film fest

Today we had a fim fest programme at minerva theatre, chanthamukku, kottarakkara. We watched the movie "Rekhachithram",the first malayalam blockbuster movie of 2025.it was a memorable day

Union inaguration

 Today marked the inauguration of our college union and arts club, and it was a truly wonderful event. The union has been named "EKTHA", symbolizing unity. The program was vibrant and full of energy, featuring several captivating dance and music performances.  The event was graced by the presence of respected guests, including Honorable Chandy Oommen, MLA,and the popular personalities Rajesh Kottarathil and Sudheesh Konni.Their presence added great charm to the occasion.  

Adding to the excitement, we enjoyed an enchanting performance by the "NEELAM" band, which left everyone mesmerized. The entire event was a memorable celebration of talent, culture, and togetherness.

  One of my friend got reteach. Because his skill was skill of reinforcement. It involves both positive and negative reinforcement. He focused only on positive reinforcement so he got reteach

  

Micro Teach 2

 Today was the day for teaching our second skill for the second semester. My skill was the "Skill of Using the Blackboard." Jesna and Ansha observed my class, and I had the opportunity to observe the classes of Sherin Mathew and Sherin Joji. It was a wonderful experience for me as a teacher trainee. My class was scheduled from 11:30 to 11:45 am.
