COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP DAY 2

 Day 2
Theme: Harmony in Diversity


On the second day (22/10/25) of the Lokahi Community Living Camp, the day began at 9:00 a.m. with the morning assembly. The assembly was hosted by Anu J Sajeev, and the prayer song was presented by Megha, Vaishnavi, and Rajalakshmi. The thought for the day was shared by Kumari Varsha, while Sheba and Alfiya presented the news. The day’s theme, “Harmony in Diversity,” was introduced by Shamna.



At 10:00 a.m., the session Swaralaya commenced. The discussion was centered on “The Significance and Importance of Musical Intelligence in Teacher Training.” The session was graced by Dr. Manakkal Gopalakrishnan (Former Research Officer, SCERT Kerala), Mavelikkara Vijayakrishnan (Violinist), and Srirangam Krishnakumar (Mridangam Artist), who filled the gathering with melodious performances. Shaheena, Anagha, and Akshara offered felicitations, and Rose delivered the vote of thanks.

After the short break, at 11:45 a.m., the program Agniratham was conducted. Mr. Aneesh from the Kottarakkara Fire and Rescue Station led a session on the topic “On the Path of Safety.” Kumari Jija delivered the vote of thanks.



Post-lunch, various group cultural programs were held. At 2:45 p.m., Mr. Ayyappadas, journalist from Malayala Manorama, led an interactive session on “Media Vibrations.” The program was organized by Mrs. Neethu S. Raj from the Malayalam Department. The session was highly informative and helped teacher trainees gain valuable insights into the world of media. Sheba Susan Philip delivered the vote of thanks for the session.

Later, at 5:30 p.m., the drama “ALPHII (12) MISSING” was staged by the teams from Rangaprabhat, Alanthara, and Vembayam as part of the Rangotsavam event. The vote of thanks was delivered by Kumari Shalini.





The day concluded at 7:30 p.m. with a spectacular musical performance by Beats Audios, marking a grand end to the second day of the camp.
