Union Day Celebration: Aurora 2025
Today, we celebrated Union Day with a vibrant program named Aurora, organized by the College Union. The event, hosted by Roshma Pappachan (General Secretary) and Albin K Alexander (Chairman), began at 12:00 PM and concluded at 3:30 PM.
The program started with the reading of letters from the Wish Box, a creative initiative by the College Union. Students had been asked earlier to drop their letters into the box, expressing their hopes and expectations for 2025. Selected letters, many filled with humor and creativity, were read aloud, setting a lively tone for the event.
Next, a group activity brought departments together in a friendly competition. Each department created a chart featuring cartoons, writings, or illustrations that reflected their expectations for 2025, visions for their department, or comparisons between 2024 and 2025. The teams presented their work to the judges: Arun Sir, Sithusha Teacher, and Dona Teacher. The Natural Science Department claimed the top spot with their exceptional creativity.
The day concluded as a memorable celebration of New Year, fostering creativity, collaboration, and unity among all.
