CRITICISM DAY 1

Criticism Day: A Journey of Reflection and Growth

Criticism Day at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College was a truly enriching experience, giving me the chance to take on both the roles of a teacher and a student. This dual perspective helped me better understand the teaching-learning process and offered valuable insights into effective classroom practices. It was a meaningful step in my development as a teacher-in-training.

As a teacher, I carefully planned and delivered my lesson, focusing on clear explanations, student engagement, and classroom management. Standing before my peers and evaluators was both exciting and challenging. The feedback I received was constructive and helped me recognize what I did well and where I could improve. This experience boosted my confidence and encouraged me to refine my teaching techniques.

Observing my peers as a student was equally insightful. I learned new teaching strategies by watching different styles, lesson structures, and ways of interacting with students. This helped me understand the importance of clarity, adaptability, and connection in the classroom. Overall, Criticism Day was not just about evaluation—it was a day of mutual learning, support, and professional growth.
