My First Day — A New Chapter Begins

DAY 1 : 14-07-2025, Monday

Today was the first day of our teaching practice. We reached the school by 8.45 am and recorded our attendance in the headmistress's office.

From 9.00 am onwards, we received instructions and guidance from the school headmaster and Rosemary teacher, the senior assistant teacher. Their words of encouragement gave us confidence to begin our practice.

I was assigned class 9E for teaching, with Renju teacher as my mentor. My first session was during the 3rd period. My mentor introduced me to the class, and I had a short friendly interaction with the students. After that, I started the lesson Parallel lines. It was a good experience as I got an opportunity to interact with the students and understand the classroom environment.

After completing my teaching session, I also took part in the discipline duties as per the schedule. We left the school by 4.15 pm.
