PRE- MARITAL COUNSELLING
Today was my 41st day of teaching practice. I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and completed the morning discipline duties. My class was in the fourth period, where I conduct Achievement test. Students were very active and interested. After exam, I assisted teachers in arranging materials for the upcoming School Kalolsavam. I left the school at 4:15 p.m.
I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and participated in the morning prayer. My class was in the third period, and I taught the topic Verification and Revision of Triangles. The students revised the entire chapter and clarified their doubts. Later, I helped in the Kalolsavam arrangements and discipline duties. It was a busy but joyful day. I signed out at 4:15 p.m.
Today marked the last and 43rd day of my teaching practice at St. Mary’s HSS. It was a very emotional day. I had my last period class, where I interacted with students, shared feedback, and expressed my gratitude. The students also shared their love and appreciation. I gifted a small token of love to my mentor teacher, Renju Miss, and collected feedback forms from students. After taking some photos and completing the final procedures, I signed out at 4:30 p.m., marking the end of a memorable teaching practice journey.
Today was my 38th day of teaching practice. I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. My class was in the third period, where I started a new chapter, Triangles. The topic I taught was Angles and Sides. Students were very attentive and participated actively in the discussion. Today was also my first observation by Sreelakshmi Teacher. The class went well, and she appreciated my presentation and classroom management. After completing all school duties, I left the school at 4:15 p.m.
I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. My class was in the fifth period, and I continued teaching Angles and Sides in Similar Triangles. The students actively participated in the discussion and solved problems on the board. The lesson went smoothly. After finishing the remaining duties, I signed out at 4:15 p.m.
It was a working day at school. I reached by 9:00 a.m. and signed in. Today, our Yoga and Health Education practical observation was conducted under the guidance of Lal Sir. The session went well, and everyone participated actively. Later, I had a regular class in the fourth period (12:25 – 12:55), where I taught Problems from Similar Triangles. After completing all the day’s duties, I left the school at 4:15 p.m.
All student-teachers participated actively in the yoga practice. We performed various asanas, including Tadasana, Trikonasana, Bhujangasana, and Padmasana, under the guidance of the instructor. The session also included a short discussion on the importance of yoga for physical and mental health.
The practice helped us improve our concentration, flexibility, and relaxation techniques. It was a refreshing and energizing experience that emphasized the importance of including yoga in daily routine as well as in school activities.
Today was my 33rd day of teaching practice. I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. My class was in the third period from 11:25 to 12:05. I taught the topic Area Formula in Multiplication. At first, students found it a little difficult, but later they understood it well with my explanation. Today was also my observation day, and the teacher observed my class and gave useful feedback. It was a very good and satisfying day.
I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and completed morning discipline duties. My class was in the fourth period from 12:05 to 12:45 p.m. I revised problems on the Area of Triangle from the previous lesson. Students worked out the problems actively. In the afternoon, I had lunch duty and a substitution class in 7th standard. I completed all duties and left the school at 4:15 p.m.
Today was my 35th day of practice. I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and did all morning activities. I had a substitution class in 6D during the second period. Later, I had my regular class in the seventh period, but since most students were busy with Kalolsavam practice, I couldn’t take a regular lesson. Instead, I interacted with the students informally. After completing duties, I signed out at 4:15 p.m.
Today was a special day as the school Kalolsavam was conducted. I reached school early at 8:30 a.m. and signed in. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, and the events were held on four stages. I was assigned as Stage 2 Manager, where items like Lalithaganam, Mappilappattu, and Desabhakti songs took place. Students participated very actively, and it was a joyful and busy day. I signed out at 5:00 p.m.
It was the second day of the school Kalolsavam. I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and continued my duty at Stage 2. Compared to the previous day, fewer students were present. Competitions ended by noon, and results and certificate distribution took place afterward. It was a pleasant and successful conclusion to the school arts festival. I signed out at 4:00 p.m.
The School Kalolsavam was conducted on 25th and 26th September 2025 at our school. The program began with a grand inaugural ceremony attended by the Headmaster, teachers, and students. Various competitions were held at different stages, including light music, Mappilappattu, patriotic songs, Thiruvathira, Oppana, and instrumental music.
I was assigned as the Stage-2 Manager, where song competitions were conducted. Students actively participated and showcased their wonderful talents. NCC, SPC, and other student volunteers helped in organizing and maintaining discipline throughout the events.
The second day of the Kalolsavam had fewer participants as most programs were completed on the first day. By noon, the remaining events were finished, and results and certificates were distributed to the winners.
Overall, the Kalolsavam was a memorable and colorful event that encouraged students to express their creativity and artistic skills. It was a joyful experience for everyone involved.
