Celebrating International Teacher's Day: 'Snehapoorvam'
On October 7th, 2024, the first-year students gathered to celebrate International Teacher's Day, marking the occasion with a special event called 'Snehapoorvam.' This celebration was held with great enthusiasm and reverence, as we paid tribute to the teaching profession that we are being trained for. The event began with a welcoming speech by Albin, setting a positive tone for the day. Following the welcome address, teachers were given tasks based on questions drawn from a paper lot, allowing them to share their personal experiences and reflections on their careers.
As a token of appreciation, students from each department presented gifts to their respective faculty members. The celebration also included various cultural performances, such as dance and songs, which added joy and energy to the occasion. The program came to a close with a vote of thanks delivered by David, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the day memorable. It was a wonderful celebration, honoring the dedication and hard work of teachers, and reminding us of the important role they play in shaping future generations.
