Criticism day 3

On the third day of the Criticism Class at BMM College, I observed Sherin’s Mathematics class, which allowed me to analyze teaching methods, content delivery, and student engagement strategies. This experience highlighted the significance of clear explanations, effective teaching aids, and a well-structured lesson flow. Additionally, I gained insights into how students responded to different approaches, which will be valuable in shaping my own teaching practices.

Later, as a peer critic for Sheba’s class, I evaluated her lesson structure, concept clarity, and interaction with students. Providing constructive feedback required assessing her strengths while identifying areas for improvement. This process helped me develop a critical perspective on classroom management and instructional techniques. The peer criticism session fostered reflective thinking, enabling both of us to enhance our teaching skills through shared learning.

Overall, the experience reinforced the importance of observation and peer evaluation in professional growth. Analyzing different teaching styles provided a deeper understanding of effective classroom strategies. Being both an observer and a critic helped me refine my approach, better preparing me for the realities of teaching.
