Chandrayaan Day Celebration
On 21st July 2025 (Monday), our school celebrated Chandrayaan Day with great enthusiasm to mark the achievements of India in the field of space exploration. The program aimed at creating awareness among students about India’s space journey and to inspire them to take pride in the contributions of ISRO.
The program began in the afternoon session, after the lunch break, in the presence of the Headmaster, teachers, and students of all classes. The stage was decorated with posters, drawings, and informative charts prepared by students that highlighted the significance of Chandrayaan missions.
The function started with a welcome address by one of the teachers, followed by a speech on Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2, explaining how India’s space research has gained global recognition. Students actively participated by presenting short talks, quizzes, and skits based on India’s space journey. A special PowerPoint presentation was also shown to highlight the objectives and scientific achievements of Chandrayaan missions.
The most attractive part of the program was a poster-making and collage competition conducted among students. Through creative drawings and slogans, they expressed their ideas on space exploration and the importance of science and technology in modern life. Teachers appreciated their efforts and guided them with additional information about ISRO and the future Chandrayaan-3 mission.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and the collective singing of the patriotic song “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan”, which created a sense of pride and inspiration among the students.
