On March 14, 2025, we arrived at Ashraya at 9:45 AM for the third day of our visit. Our teachers, Mr. Arun and Ms. Shijini, were present to observe and guide us, motivating us to take on the day's tasks with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. The day began with organizing the library from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We worked as a team to clean shelves and neatly arrange books, an activity that sharpened our organizational and collaboration skills.
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we had a chance to engage directly with the students at Ashraya through an interactive teaching session. We kept the lessons simple and enjoyable, encouraging participation, and were happy to see the students respond with excitement and eagerness. Due to a delay in lunch, a peaceful and extended prayer session was held from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM, offering a moment for spiritual reflection and calm. Lunch followed shortly after.
In the afternoon, we gathered in the general hall at 2:45 PM for a group activity session with the residents. We conducted various fun and engaging activities that encouraged interaction and created a cheerful atmosphere. At 3:30 PM, we ended the day with tea and snacks, enjoying a moment to relax and reflect on the positive impact of our efforts. We left Ashraya feeling fulfilled, having contributed meaningfully to both the residents and the overall program.
